Adding to this year’s music line up is an incredible artist, who you’d be forgiven for thinking there’s more thank just him on stage.

Introducing the one and only Josh Kemp

We caught up with him for the usual 1 or 2 questions.

Can you tell us a little about yourself and your music? Who have you been greatly influenced by?

I’m a singer songwriter who uses an acoustic guitar and loop pedal. In 2013 I played 220 gigs on repetitive tours of the UK, including 26 festivals and in 2012 I performed for the Olympic Torch Ceremony for 18,000 people.

I massively admire the lyrics of Jason Myraz, he uses some incredible lyric patterns but in general I see awesome musicians perform every week and all of them have absolutely incredible stories and backgrounds!

How did you get into music?

I started playing music when i was four years old, I used to watch my cousins practice piano (but they hated it as practice time always clashed with blue peter) but I used to watch them in awe and then try recreate what they were doing when they’d finished!

What are you currently working on?

I’m currently working towards the release of my new EP on the 24th October at the Bodega so it’s full steam ahead!

Where can people find you?

We for one are really looking forward to hearing Josh live, hope you are too!
